Hangcha America Smart Logistics Launches Operations

HOUSTON, July 15, 2025 – Hangcha Group, a global leader in smart logistics solutions, today announced the official launch of its U.S. subsidiary, Hangcha America Smart Logistics (HASL), in Houston, Texas. At the grand opening ceremony, the management of Hangcha Group and Hangcha’s North American subsidiaries, strategic clients such as Walmart, along with local partners, gathered to witness this milestone moment. The new operation will provide North American customers with integrated smart logistics solutions, including AGV/AMR robots, automated storage systems, and new energy forklifts.

Technology-Driven Solutions

“With over 7,000 AGV units successfully deployed for global leaders like P&G, BMW, and JD.com, we’re bringing proven smart logistics technology to North America,” said Ren Haihua, President of Hangcha Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. “We reported RMB 1 billion in smart logistics contracts in 2024 and is investing another RMB 1 billion in an automated equipment base set for 2025 completion.” Ren added, “We’re investing aggressively in innovation and cutting-edge developments in AI, 5G, humanoid logistics robots, and inspection robots to push the boundaries of smart logistics.”

Strengthening Global Presence

Hangcha International General Manager George Zhang stated, “The U.S. is a core market for Hangcha’s global strategy. Since establishing our Charlotte headquarters in 2017 and opening service centers in Houston and Los Angeles, we’ve deepened localization efforts, including a dedicated North America R&D center. HASL’s launch will further enhance our manufacturing, R&D, and distribution network to deliver efficient smart logistics solutions.” With nearly 20 global subsidiaries and 300+ distributors, Hangcha’s overseas revenue exceeds 40%, supported by annual overseas sales surpassing 100,000 units.

Localized Approach

HASL General Manager Li Siwei outlined the localization roadmap, saying that HASL will focus on three core strategies: promoting smart logistics systems, expanding local sales teams, and enhancing after-sales support through Hangcha’s existing U.S. network.
