National Accounts Sales Manager

Job Summary

The National Account Sales Manager oversees creating and implementing the National Sales program for HC Forklift America in partnership with C-Suite strategies, goals, and model. The NASM position will utilize the National Account leads provided by sources and develop relationships with potential national accounts to open sales opportunities for HCFA. This role works closely with the RSM and Marketing teams. This role is focused on the startup aspect of the program during 2021 and will be guided and supervised by the Sr. VP of Sales to ensure strategic actions toward goals. The Sr. VP will also provide support and guidance for the NASM and the National Account program.

General Accountabilities
  • Creates and expands interest for national accounts.
  • Builds and maintains effective professional relationships with accounts, dealers, and potential customers.
  • The main point of contact for national accounts and corporate teams.
  • Starts up the national account program with guidance by Sr. VP of Sales.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to source potential national accounts.
  • Partner with the corporate team to provide supportive infrastructure to deliver DFNA.
  • Seeks competitive financial sources to benefit our national account customers.
  • Collaborates with the engineering team to define key specs & features for NA Li-Ion models.
  • Educates business partners and end-users on company products and services.
  • Explore opportunities to upgrade dealers across the country for the lithium-ion product line.
  • Plans, coordinates, attends trade shows, company conferences, and conventions.
  • Meets customer needs, offers options, resolves problems, and follows up with national accounts.

Job Qualifications
  • 7+ years in the industry either at the dealer or OEM level.
  • 5+ years of Sales & Marketing experience
  • Preferred Associates or bachelor’s degree – depending on the level of industry experience.
  • Proven record in the field – references within the industry
  • Willing to Travel 40 – 50% including weekends.
