Parts Sales Associate

Job Summary

The Parts Sales Associate position interfaces directly with our dealer network to promptly respond to dealer inquiries and orders for Hangcha forklift parts.  This position will be involved in efficient inventory controls, parts procurement, and expedited orders; accurate and timely data entry and record maintenance; and effective receiving, stocking, and disbursing related inventory to ensure availability of essential parts for our dealer network. Increases product knowledge in support of dealers and team. Supports Parts Manager as required driven by dealer requests. Increase parts department sales revenue by promoting and proposing additional parts related to dealer requests.  Assist the Parts Department with promotional programs designed to increase revenue and efficiency.

General Accountabilities
  • Assists the dealers in providing the correct part numbers as required.
  • Prioritize required tasks to make efficient use of work time.
  • Determine spare parts availability using the inventory control system.
  • Contacts dealers to communicate on-time delivery of ordered component parts.
  • Source, order, and receive non-stocked items from vendors.
  • Expedite parts order as necessary based on inventory status and need of parts for immediate repairs.
  • Document and post inventory and purchase transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Maintain inventory through variance identification, warehouse stocking, inventory transfers, and recommending additions to regular stocked parts inventory.
  • Maintains organization and cleanliness in the stockroom.
  • Ensures incoming materials are inspected against orders for correctness, quantity, type, and damages.
  • Prepares necessary paperwork to ensure proper billing.
  • Performs a variety of clerical or back-office duties as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 3 years minimum parts sales experience on mobile industrial equipment or automotive
  • Forklift technical experience (preferred but not required)
  • SAP experience (preferred but not required)
  • This position works full time in our office in Charlotte, NC. The candidate must be local or willing to self- relocate to the Charlotte, NC area.
